Haryana Wedding Hubs Open $Millions in Business Opportunities for 2026-27

Haryana's 2026-27 budget has designated Gurugram, Kharkhoda and Pinjore as official Wedding City hubs under the Sagaai se Vidaai concept. The move formalises parts of the wedding industry and supports local employment through organised commercial zones.

Haryana Wedding City Designations

The designations position these locations for coordinated development of wedding-related facilities. HSIIDC will develop purpose-built wedding cities in Gurgaon and Kharkhoda as organised commercial zones that include allied services. A common secretariat for investors is being established to streamline approvals for both industrial and wedding projects in the key centres.

Manesar Integrated Hub Plans

A separate 250-acre integrated destination wedding hub has been announced for Manesar. The project includes luxury accommodation, banquet halls and a dedicated shopping market for jewellery and bridal couture. The hub targets consolidation of North India's ₹10 lakh crore wedding sector and opens direct opportunities for suppliers of accommodation, event venues and specialised retail.

Additional State Initiatives

Visakhapatnam's VMRDA plans to convert the 300-acre Kailasagiri hilltop park into a wedding destination by finishing tourist cottages and adding facilities such as a revolving restaurant. In Pushkar, Rajasthan, three new development schemes have been approved, covering 21 mega resorts and 85 commercial shops across 44 hectares to support more than 3,000 external weddings each year.

These plans collectively open commercial space for businesses involved in venue operation, hospitality fit-outs, bridal retail and event services. Investors can engage through the new secretariat structure in Haryana or the respective development authorities in Andhra Pradesh and Rajasthan. Project timelines and specific tender processes will be released by the implementing agencies as development proceeds.
