Timeline for implementation
Parents can submit revised income declarations starting 15 July through the district's online portal. Updated billing will begin with the September payment cycle. District staff will hold three information sessions at community centres in the Reuterkiez and Rollberg quarters during the last week of July.
Further adjustments to the ordinance remain possible if the Berlin Senate alters its contribution rules before the end of 2026. The next regular assembly meeting is scheduled for 10 September.
